Behavioral Problems can not only cause stress for you and your pet, but also, if not addressed, may lead to medical problems that could shorten the life of your pet. DAC offers counseling and treatment for such problems as:
Telemedicine is another medical option we utilize for diagnosing a pet's illness. We are able to send test results to board certified specialists if needed, via the internet. We can transmit diagnostic images such as x-rays, ultrasounds, cytology, endoscopy, photographs and case information. These specialists will review the cases and work with our doctors to diagnose the problem and offer treatment options and case management suggestions.
Boarding is offered in our climate controlled kennels. We try to make your pet as comfortable as possible while they are away from their home. We have a fenced exercise/play yard for their safety. Pets are walked at least twice every day, and get supervised play time. We can supply all food and medications needed while your pet stays with us, or you may wish to bring theirs' from home. You are welcome to visit our facility at any time.
Baths and Shavedowns are also an option we have for your pet. Especially in the summer, this can make them more comfortable and can help with parasite control. To give the best service, we appreciate appointments to be made at least one day in advance. Pets need to arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and they will be ready for pick-up in the afternoon. Our bath and shavedown service includes nail trim, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. (Sorry no specialty cuts.) We use the best hygiene products so your pet is clean and pretty, and these products are also available for you to purchase and use at home.
